Nice to Meet You

I have been a professional wedding photographer for more than ten years, long enough for a few former brides and grooms to invite me back to photograph their next weddings. Over the years, I have worked at nearly every wedding venue in and around Sofia, and I regularly travel to photograph celebrations in many other cities across Bulgaria.

At every wedding, I work together with an assistant photographer. They do more than simply help me. They enrich the story we capture by noticing and preserving moments that might otherwise go unseen. Some of the most beautiful photographs on this website were taken by my assistants, as well as all the worst ones.

Since 2012, I have been running a blog with hundreds of practical articles on wedding planning. Many couples say that this is where they first found the “rough draft” of their own wedding day.

We can communicate in English or Russian if your partner is not from Bulgaria.

I am married, I have a child, and four bicycles.

Approach

Discretion

I strive to work discreetly at your wedding so that neither you nor your guests feel my presence while I am photographing. I do not insist on posing, and there is no need to be aware of the camera or set aside long periods for photo sessions. Ideally, I want the process of being photographed to feel like one of the pleasant parts of your day, not a modeling assignment.

Naturalness

My images capture mostly genuine moments in natural colors. Above all, I look for smiling and emotional faces. Your memories should also include many photographs of your parents, relatives, and friends.

100% Focus

I photograph no more than one wedding per week. This allows me to be rested, present, and creative on your wedding day.

Support

Just as I help couples through the articles on my blog, I am always happy to assist you personally whenever questions arise during your wedding planning process.

Trust

I work with complete transparency and full legal compliance. All payments for my services are made exclusively by bank transfer. Every deadline for delivering your photographs, as well as all other terms, is provided in writing and respected without exception. If you wish, our collaboration can also be formalized in a traditional written contract, structured and presented in any format you prefer.

Equipment

A great photograph is created by a skilled photographer, not by a camera. However, no professional should allow their work to be limited by compromised equipment. I work with three Sony A7III cameras, fast lenses, professional flashes, memory cards, and spare batteries sufficient for more than 30,000 frames. This allows me to capture moments with minimal lens changes, in all lighting and weather conditions, and to remain confident that if a camera or lens decides to take an unexpected break, your photographs will not suffer.

Security for Your Photographs

Your wedding photographs are protected with at least double backup from the very moment they are captured. I shoot simultaneously on two memory cards, which are not formatted until the files are transferred to two separate hard drives. I store your photographs without time limitation and will most likely be able to restore them free of charge if you ever happen to lose your copy.
